Books for Boys

Follow Joe, a Sticker Burr Outdoors original boy, as he experiences adventure hunting for his first deer. Near the piney woods of Tabernacle Township, Joe, his family, and friends experience life together. The whole gang works, plays, and hunts deer together. The farmers, mechanics, and craftsmen of the area hunt deer using a generations old technique called a deer drive. Not only does Joe learn how to search for and find white-tailed deer, he learns valuable lessons about work, life, and family. (read sample chapters)

About the Author
Brian Gasiorowski began Sticker Burr Outdoors with the goal of “building boys into men.” Brian has combined his devotion for youth education with his passion for hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventures. By weaving stories of boyhood adventures with traditional American values, Brian believes boys will learn about outdoor life while being molded into men of character.

Brian has lived in Texas, North Carolina, and New Jersey. He earned his BSBA from Appalachian State University and his M DIV from Hardin-Simmons University. Currently, Brian lives in Corpus Christi, Texas with his wife and three daughters. When he is not enjoying hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities with family and friends, he is teaching social studies at a public high school.
